Breakin’ Convention; International Festival of Hip Hop Dance Theatre Returns

Back for it’s ninth year the internationally celebrated Hip Hop dance festival, Breakin’ Convention will be taking over Sadler’s Wells during the 2012 May Bank Holiday. The three-day festival will showcase some of the world’s finest performers in breaking, popping, locking and newer styles such as house. Get yourself down there and you will see performances from Ill-Abilities, Clash 66, Bboy Ata, Serial Stepperz, Vagabonds Crew and Unity, plus many more to be announced.

We saw Ill-Abilities for the first time at IBE in 2011 and it blew our minds. Spend 5 minutes in their world and never again will you complain about the aches and pains, bumps and bruises we all have to endure to get good at breaking.

For more information on the show, workshops, it’s UK tour and the full line-up keep an eye on the Breakin’ Convention website.

Tickets sell out every year for Breakin’ Convention, so we suggest booking early if you suffer from fear of missing out!
